Hotel & Tours Group

Mr. Charles Morris will commence his tenure at The Peninsula Bangkok in March 2007. He joined the Group in September 2004 as Resident Manager of The Peninsula Manila; prior to taking up this position, he had been Area Director, Six Senses Maldives for two resort properties on the islands.

He began his hospitality career in 1974 with the Dolder Grand Hotel, Zurich and subsequently occupied progressively senior positions with international luxury hotel groups in countries/regions as diverse as Cambodia, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Japan, Mauritius, South Africa and the United Kingdom. At one time, in the 1980s, he worked for Peninsula-managed hotels and restaurants in Hong Kong.

A British national, Mr. Morris is a graduate of the Ecole Hoteliere Lausanne, Switzerland and an alumnus of Cornell University’s Summer School program.
