Armand Notó has been named General Manager of the newly refashioned, 104-room Rafaelhoteles Casanova Hotel in Barcelona Spain, within walking distance to Las Ramblas. Notó brings more than 10 years experience in the hospitality industry to his new position at Casanova, set to re-launch with its urban chic design in November 2007. As General Manager he supervises day-to-day hotel operations, sales and marketing and food and beverage.

Prior to joining Casanova, Notó was General Manager of the four-star Hotel Eurostars Angli in Barcelona. As General Manager of Hotel Eurostars Angli, Notó successfully supervised hotel operations and organized administration teams post opening. Notó's experience ranges from food and beverage operations at five-star Gran Hotel La Florida to guest services at five-star Hotel Arts, both in Barcelona. Notó has also worked in various hospitality capacities at five-star properties in the Philippines and Mexico.

Notó attended Eserp University, a business school in Barcelona, where he earned a degree in International Tourism Management. He is fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English.
