Located on the 17th floor of the Hilton hotel, the restaurant has a stunning view of the coastline and the town and is one of Thailand's best Chinese restaurants. The White Lotus restaurant, with its elegant and contemporary setting creates the right atmosphere to enjoy and relax during the evening. The service is professional and efficient. Fresh silverware laid out for each course.

The menu offers classic Chinese dishes with a fresh twist. Pan-roasted foie gras with ginger is simply delicious but not what one expects on a Chinese menu. Interestingly there are two degustation menus starting at 750 baht++. As an appetiser succulent deep-fried spring rolls cut on the diagonal is served. Roast duck with peanut sauce is a good starter. Sichuan sweetcorn and crabmeat soup served in a handled soup bowl is tasty, but the corn is a tad crunchy. Fillet of sea bass with a light, fruity curry sauce is served with steamed vegetables. Fried bananas with honey is traditional, but serving it with dark Belgian chocolate ice cream gives it that special twist and a good finish.
They have an extensive wine list with a sommelier to provide recommendations.
Dinner for two without wine will cost about 2,500 to 3,000 baht.
