Overlooking a tree-lined sandy beach, Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort & Spa is in Cha Am, Thailand, one kilometer from Nong Chaeng Temple and two kilometers from Neranchararam Temple (see map).

The Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort & Spa, a vacation destination located in an active fishing port, offers distinctive Thai architecture with steeply-pitched red roofs with white trim. The large outdoor pool is studded with traditional Thai sculpture. The spa offers Thai massage and other therapeutic treatments, and a fitness center also is on site. Children's activities and a game room also are available. Dining options include Fu Lue, which serves Chinese cuisine, and Celestino, an Italian restaurant. Bellevue Coffee Shop features Friday night themed buffets. The resort also includes a lobby lounge. Complimentary buffet breakfasts are served daily, and room service is available 24-hours a day. The resort offers a business center with high-speed Internet access for a fee and conference facilities. Wireless Internet access is available at a lobby kiosk for a fee. Pets are not permitted at the resort.

The 14-story resort includes 224 guestrooms that offer balconies or private sun decks with mountain, sea or pool views. Contemporary Thai décor includes hardwood floors and teak furnishings. Amenities include wireless Internet access for a fee, flat-panel televisions with satellite channels, direct-dial phones and desks. Additional amenities offered are coffee and tea makers, minibars and complimentary bottled water. Guestrooms include separate bathtubs and showers, and bathrobes and slippers.

The numerous golf courses in and around Hua Hin, located 10 kilometers south of the resort, are largely undiscovered. At least six world-class courses are in the area, including Thailand's oldest public course, the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course and the new Black Mountain Golf Club, Hua Hin. Green fees are relatively inexpensive on weekdays, ranging from THB 1,200 to 2,500.
