Emirates Airlines, the Official Airline of the Dubai Desert Classic - The European Tour event, to be held at the Emirates Golf Club from January 29 to February 1 - will be lending its support to Erik Compton who will be making his debut in the tournament on Thursday.

Compton made history by becoming the only professional golfer in the world to compete with a transplanted heart; the 28-year-old received his first heart transplant at the age of 12.
