PB Air opened its bridge between Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Mae Sot, Tak province (see Thailand airports map).
The three flights weekly operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Flight 9Q852 departs Suvarnabhumi Airport at 7am and arrives on Mae Sot at 8.30am. The return flight leaves Mae Sot at 9am and lands at Suvarnabhumi at 10.30am. Mae Sot, a border trading town between Thailand and Myanmar, is a gateway to the natural beauty of Umphang* on Thailand's western frontier.

*Umphang district is located in the southern tip of Tak province. The place is mostly hills, forests, river streams, caves and waterfalls. Majority of population living there are Karen (Kayin), Thai, Shan and other minority ethnic tribes. Highway 1090 linking Mae Sot and Umphang was finished in 1990's.
