We try to stay at the Hotel Commonwealth when we come to Boston. It is a fabulous boutique hotel and is lacking absolutely nothing. It is especially great if you are going to a Red Sox game - the proximity to Fenway could not possibly be any more convenient. Honestly, we feel the Commonwealth is our home away from home in Boston.

The most enjoyable part of my stay, would have to be the staff. They were all very helpful and knew the area very well. The dining right at the hotel was excellent, i could not have asked for a better hotel to stay at and look forward to returning in the near future.

They took very good care of us. When the staff found out that it was a romantic getaway for my wife and I, without our two children, they really went out of their way to make it special. Free champagne, really great attitude!
