Founded in 1884, Formby Golf club is a magnificent traditional links of charm and elegance situated close to the shoreline of the Irish Sea, near Southport.
Sited within the sand hills and pinewoods of Formby the terrain ensures that accuracy is always at a premium. Heather protects much of the rough and caution is definitely required whether playing off the tee or in approaching the well protected greens. This is a course of contrasts.
The traditional clubhouse offers you comfort and relaxation in the welcoming Golfer's Bar and mixed Hall Bar. A delightful range of snacks is available through out the day.
