Centara Karon Resort Phuket, a4-star hotel on the Phuket island, has been voted the number one resort in the world for guest satisfaction, and Centara Kata Resort Phuket has been voted number three under the same category by customers of leading Scandinavian leisure travel group TUI Nordic.

The two Phuket resorts are part of Centara Hotels & Resorts, Thailand's leading hotel management company.

TUI conducted a survey of its customers by asking them to complete a questionnaire on properties at which they had stayed.

The results were then evaluated, with the score for Centara Karon Resort Phuket during 2008 placing it at number one in the world, and Centara Kata Resort Phuket being placed at number three.

Centara Karon Resort Phuket is a modern mid-rise resort divided into four resort zones catering to individuals, families, couples, and discerning travellers, all zones having panoramic views of Karon Beach and the lush hinterland of hills behind. The resort has three swimming pools, and a sports centre with a host of recreational activities including two floodlit tennis courts, fully equipped gymnasium, snooker and darts. SPA Cenvaree offers a full range of treatments and therapies.

Centara Kata Resort Phuket enjoys a picturesque location at Kata Beach and is ideal for family leisure trips, offering the option of self-catering facilities. Amongst the attractions are three swimming pools, a children’s club, and SPA Cenvaree.
