With thousands of Middle Eastern expatriates returning home for the long hot summer, Emirates airline is preparing to meet customer demand by introducing nine additional services between Dubai and Beirut during August.

The additional flights will give the Dubai to Beirut service an important boost during one of the busiest months of the year and are testament to Emirates' commitment to making international travel easy and convenient.

Khalid bel Jaflah, Emirates Vice President Commercial Operations UAE said: “Demand for travel to Beirut from Dubai and the Emirates network is usually very high during summer. In addition to Lebanese expats heading home to spend time with their family, large numbers of UAE residents and GCC nationals also find Lebanon an attractive destination for their summer holidays.

“We have introduced nine additional services between Dubai and Beirut during August in order to keep up with increased demand. These flights will give our customers more flexibility and choice of travel dates and flight timings.”

Beirut has long been a popular summer destination for residents in Dubai and the wider Middle East, offering travellers a cooler climate and an exciting, diverse environment to holiday in. With school holidays across the region now in full swing it is the perfect time for families living in the region to travel to Beirut to visit relatives, or simply enjoy a well earned break close to home.
