dusitD2 Chiang Mai's star bartender from "mix bar", Mr. Decha Wang-inta, was named as 1st runner-up at the Bacardi-Martini Grand Prix 2009 (Thailand championship). The renowned bartending contest was held at the Siam Society in Bangkok.

Mr. Decha Wang-inta competed against 17 bartenders, receiving a high score for his performance and skills and receiving favourable comments from the judges when he mixed his self-created cocktail "Bacardi Zole".

Mr. Decha Wang-inta has now added to his collection of prestigious awards, having previously been winner of the Bacardi-Martini Grand Prix 2007 (Northern Thailand chapter), winner of the Finlandia Cup Bartending Competition 2008 (Thailand championship), and the 1st runner-up at the 18th Asia Pacific Bartender of the Year Cocktail Competition 2008 in Singapore.
