Prague Castle welcomed more visitors last year than any other attraction in the Czech Republic, according to new figures.
Czech Tourism revealed that some 1.34 million people visited the castle last year, placing it ahead of Prague Zoo, which welcomed 1.2 million tourists.
The castle is one of Prague's most recognisable landmarks and is one of the largest buildings of its kind in the world.

Over the years, it has housed the offices of kings, Holy Roman emperors and presidents of Czechoslovakia and currently holds the Czech crown jewels.
The Jewish Museum and the National Museum in Prague were the Czech Republic's third and fourth most visited attractions respectively last year, while the Babylon entertainment complex in Liberec was the most popular site outside the capital city.
Dvur Kralove Zoo, the Prague National Gallery and the Terezin memorial also featured in the top ten.
