Cutting-edge hotel The Mira Hong Kong is celebrating the opening of its exclusive new luxury spa.

The hotel, situated in the heart of Hong Kong's commercial shopping and entertainment district, offers guests a tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle of inner-city life.

The Mira spa features nine treatment areas, an infinity Jacuzzi, a nail bar and a floatation lounge. Two couple's suites include a private sunken whirlpool bath and a special relaxation area. Before treatments, guests can relax in the Aura room, where soothing colours and sounds are designed to induce restful sleep. There is also an 18m pool, a gymnasium and a bar lounge serving smoothies and health snacks.

Based on Chinese body balancing rituals, signature treatments include 'Fire And Water', which is designed to restore inner harmony using Reiki, deep tissue massage and acupuncture. All treatments will be performed using Elemental Herbology products, which combines traditional Chinese medicine and botanical remedies to balance the body's natural elements.
