Mr. Michael A. Ganster has been appointed as Hotel Manager of the 72-room dusitD2 baraquda Pattaya. Mr. Ganster, an Austrian national, will be responsible for the overall hotel operations.

Mr. Ganster, a graduate of the renowned Tourism & Hotel Management School "Castle Klessheim" in Austria, brings a strong background in operations to his position.

He joined Dusit International in 2007 as Director of Rooms at Dusit Thani Dubai, and was later transferred to Dusit Thani Pattaya as Executive Assistant Manager. He played an integral part in the opening of dusitD2 baraquda pattaya (2008), Dusit Princess City Centre Dubai (2009) and Dusit Thani Lake View Cairo (2010).

Prior to joining Dusit he worked with a chain of international hotels including the Hilton Frankfurt, the Hilton Kensington in London and the 5 star, 5 diamond Raffles L’Ermitage, Beverly Hills, USA.
